This Privacy Policy explains how the PubGolf App ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We have built the App to respect your privacy: there is no account, no login, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information.
The App does not require you to register or sign in. Player names you enter during a game are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
To understand how the App is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous gameplay statistics. These are tied only to a randomly generated installation identifier (a random ID created on your device, stored locally), which is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you personally. If you choose to submit an in-app rating (1–5 stars) and an optional written comment, we store this feedback together with the anonymous installation identifier so we can improve the App. Providing feedback is entirely optional.
With your permission, the App accesses your device location to center the map on your position and to find pubs and bars near you (using Apple Maps search on your device). Your device location is processed on your device only and is never uploaded to our servers. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device Settings; the App remains usable.
If you choose to publish a pub golf course so other players can discover and play it, we store the information you provide for that course on our servers, including: the course name you choose, the venue names, drink and par for each hole, the venue coordinates, and basic metadata (number of holes, walking distance, App version). Venue coordinates are the locations of publicly searchable bars/pubs — not your personal location. Publishing a course is optional and only happens when you confirm it.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. These ads are non-personalized. The App does not ask permission to track you across other apps and websites, and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for tracking. Google may process limited information required to serve and measure non-personalized ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can remove ads entirely by purchasing the Premium subscription or the ad-free option.
In-app purchases, subscriptions, and donations (tips) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. The App only stores locally on your device whether you have an active subscription or unlock, in order to enable the features you purchased.

Because we do not collect personal information and the analytics data is anonymous, we cannot identify the data belonging to a specific person. You can stop all analytics collection by deleting the App. If you have published a community course and would like it removed, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
The App is intended for an adult audience (a game centered on visiting pubs and bars) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
